Josh Sommers to Chair 4th Annual Orange County Celebrity Dinner

The Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Clubs is pleased to announce that the 4th Annual  “Orange County Celebrity Dinner” will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at West Hills Country Club in Middletown.

Having cemented itself as one of the most fun fundraisers in Orange County, the event will bring together more than fifty of the area’s most notable government, business and community leaders who sing, dance and serve their guests for “tips” that will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs.

This year’s theme is “The Bright Lights of Broadway!” and guests can expect to see the twelve Celebrity Server teams like Orange Regional Medical Center to perform “Sister Act,” attorneys from Blustein Shapiro Rich & Barone to perform “Damn Yankees” with special guest District Attorney David Hoovler, K104’s Woodman in the Morning Show to perform from “Rock of Ages,” and of course, the Times Herald-Record to perform “Newsies!”

“I’m proud to chair the 4th Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Clubs Orange County Celebrity Dinner,” said Josh Sommers, President and CEO of Focus Media, who also chaired the Club’s inaugural Orange County Celebrity Dinner. “In addition to bringing a lot of energy, competitive edge and raising a record amount of funds for the Celebrity Dinner, I want to draw attention to the phenomenal work that the staff and volunteers of the Club accomplish each and every day in carrying out the organization’s mission to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. This is a mission that I firmly believe in, and I’m going to work hard to ensure that this event exceeds expectations so that the Boys & Girls Clubs can continue providing these integral programs and services that cultivate the future leaders of our community.”

Tickets for the event are now on sale for $70 per person and $650 per table of ten guests, and include a gourmet four course dinner, and beer, wine and soft drinks throughout the evening. Early reservations are strongly encouraged because this event sells out each year. You can reserve your seats by contacting Boys & Girls Clubs at 845-342-8833.
