Funds Will Benefit Afterschool Programs for At-Risk Youth
The Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Clubs announced it is the recipient of a generous $1000 grant on behalf of The KeyBank Foundation, and KeyBank branches in the Hudson Valley.
The donation will be used to help fund the activities that take place during the afterschool programs in both Orange and Sullivan County. The Boys & Girls Clubs afterschool programs offer children a safe, supportive place to learn and play. Each program offers structured academic assistance, recreation opportunities, art classes, cooking lessons and much more! All activities are supervised by a staff that takes the time to connect with the children and provide a positive atmosphere for the children that need it most.
“We are so thankful for The KeyBank Foundation’s generosity. We appreciate their support in helping us provide a place where kids can be guided by positive and caring adults, while channeling their creativity and having fun doing what kids do best!” said BGC Executive Director Alexis Eggleton.
