The Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Clubs, Inc. is pleased to announce Kitt Potter has joined the administrative staff as Development Officer.
“We are excited to welcome Kitt to the Boys & Girls Clubs team,” said Executive Director Alexis Eggleton.
“Kitt’s proven track record in resource development, along with her unique ability to cultivate prospective donors as long-term partners, will make her a great asset to our organization. Her extensive community relations background and strong commitment to youth of all ages will be of great benefit to our Club kids and their families.”
Ms. Potter joins the Boys and Girls Club after serving 10 years as a Resource Development professional in the mid-Hudson region and being primarily responsible for bringing over $15 million in funding to county agencies, community colleges and youth organizations. She is highly regarded as a visionary with the ability to transform vision into action and inspiring diverse communities to work together. She will be responsible for identifying and cultivating annual support from individuals, corporations, foundations and government, as well as supporting special events and membership.
“It is with gratitude and great enthusiasm that I join the Boys and Girls Club Movement; especially to have the opportunity to work with such an outstanding board of directors, staff and core of volunteers. I look forward to serving a cause that is so remarkably worthy of philanthropic investment. It is my goal to not only raise funds to sustain and grow the Boys and Girls Club programs, but to also play a significant role in expanding volunteer leadership and engaging the next generation of young philanthropists,” said Potter.
Kitt, who grew up in Orange County, resides in New Paltz, NY and is also an accomplished classical, jazz and contemporary vocalist.
