The 2nd Annual “Fund Racing for Kids” to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs will take place at the Monticello Motor Club on July 11th, 2013. VIP guests will experience an evening of high-performance racing at the most exclusive motorsports club in the nation, while raising funds to support the 3000 youth served by Boys & Girls Clubs in Sullivan & Orange Counties.
“There is nothing quite like lapping a racetrack at maximum speed in a high-performance race car. To do that and support programs for the children in our communities who need us the most is an experience you will never forget,” said Event Co-Chair RJ Smith.
VIP tickets are available for this event for $500 each. VIP guests will enjoy two “Hot Laps” with a professional driver on the MMC track, as well as racing simulators, competitions and other motorsports activities. VIP guests will also be treated to a three-hour gourmet social event with fellow industry leaders and VIPs, featuring specialty cocktails provided by Prohibition Distillery.
“Last year’s Fund Racing Event was a great experience for attendees and a huge success overall. We are fortunate once again to have tremendous support from the Monticello Motor Club and an all-star committee that will make this the best event ever,” said event Co-Chair Chris Masters.
This year’s Steering Committee is Co-Chaired by Smith and Masters, and also includes BGC Board member Sean Rieber, Jay Anthony, Chris Rice and Jonathan Rouis.
The funds raised at this event will support Boys and Girls Club programs throughout Sullivan & Orange Counties and includes nutrition, education, life skills, sports and much more. The funds will also support scholarships for low-income youth.
