BGC STAFFERS GRADUATE PRESTIGIOUS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Eggleton, Kane Graduate National ALP Program Through BGCA and The University of Michigan

The Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Clubs is proud to announce that Executive Director Alexis Eggleton and Director of Operations John Kane have recently graduated from the prestigious "Executive Advanced Leadership Program” through Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.

The program is based on the teachings of renowned Ross School professor Noel Tiche, and is currently utilized by Fortune 500 companies like GE and Best Buy. It is designed to improve the participants' skill sets in the areas of asset management, communication, strategic planning and resource development, as well as to improve the host organization's capacity for sustainable future growth.

"This program is one of the most cutting-edge, transformational tools available to not-for-profit leaders, and we brought back an incredible amount of knowledge and training that we're already using to enhance our organization. I know this program will enable us to better serve our kids and their families,” said Eggleton.

The Executive Advanced Leadership Program is available to Club professionals by invitation-only. Eggleton and Kane were not only invited to participate in the program, but were also provided with scholarships to cover all costs from Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Board of Governors.

"We were very excited to be selected for this program, and to spend time with our peers from around the country developing our skills,” said Kane. "For me, a highlight of the program was the time we shared with BGCA President Roxanne Spillett, who shared her personal leadership perspective and what the future holds for the 4000 Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation.”
