The Town of Wallkill Boys and Girls Club announced today that longtime supporter Ralph DeVito has joined its Board of Directors.
Ralph is a New Jersey native with a long history of dedicated service to youth. In 1997, he joined the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newark – Ironbound. He then provided exemplary leadership as the organization’s board president from 2001-2009.
“Since moving to the area, I have been very passionate about supporting my community through the Wallkill BGC and am now proud to be a board member,” said Ralph. “Our mission to help Club kids to become productive, caring and responsible citizens benefits each and every one of us. We can all be proud of, and thankful for, the work being done by the Wallkill BGC.”
Mr. DeVito is presently the Vice President of New York Facility Operations for Revere Smelting and Refining in Wallkill. The company recently made a generous donation of $10,000 to commemorate BGC’s 20th Anniversary.
“Ralph has always been a loyal friend of the Clubs and we are thrilled that he is joining our Board of Directors,” said BGC President Tony Morino. “His experience leading quality youth organizations will be a great asset to the organization!”
