Sullivan County Celebrity Dinner: The Competition is Heating Up!

We’re just six short weeks away from the 2013 Sullivan County Celebrity Dinner and the competition is really heating up!

If you’re not familiar with the Clubs’ Celebrity Dinners in Sullivan & Orange Counties, let us explain. We bring together the most well-known business, civic and elected leaders to sing, dance and serve their guests dinner, all in the name of raising “tips” to donate to The Boys & Girls Clubs in their County. Past dinners have seen dance routines, some talented and some not-so-talented singers and even hula hooping as our servers work it!

Now in it’s fifth year, the Sullivan County Celebrity Dinner is hosted by the incomparable Greg Goldstein, who brings his own blend of wit and sarcasm to the stage. Under Greg’s leadership, the event has grown to more than 375 guests and nets the Sullivan Clubs a staggering $35,000 each year!

We have nineteen teams in the running this year (see the list below for more info), and there are several “specials” associated with the event that we want to make you aware of:

1. Our host, Paul Carlucci (Co-Chair of the Sullivan County Visitor’s Association) announced yesterday that The Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center is offering hotel rooms (dbl occupancy) to our guests for just $95! Best of all, Paul and the folks at the villa Roma are donating $45 of that fee back to the Clubs!

2. “The General” Rolling V President Phil Vallone, who is serving on this year’s Steering Committee, has announced that if there is enough interest, Rolling V will bus Celebrity Dinner guests from Roscoe to the Villa Roma.

3. Prohibition Distillery, which is set to open in Roscoe this Spring, has offered two deals for the event. Couples who purchase seats for either Roscoe team’s tables, the Prohibition Distillery OR the Evans, Eggleton & Friends tables, will receive a gift certificate for a private tour and tasting at the Distillery when it opens. Prohibition’s Brian Facquet also announced that Prohibition vodka cocktails would be made available to any guest seated at the Prohibition tables (must be 21 years or older)!

We’ll make you aware of more specials, as they happen. Haven’t gotten your seats yet for Sullivan County’s premiere fundraiser? Give us a call at 845-342-8833!
