After School Program

Crispell Middle School

Pine Bush Central School District

Thank you for checking out our program. Currently, registration for our afterschool program for Crispell is on pause. Registration opened on August 1, 2023. Please call the office for further questions.

Our first after-school program day will be September 11th, 2023. For the 2023-2024 school year we will following the calendar set by the Pine Bush Central School District.

Our Crispell Middle School Program opens at the end of the school day, providing parents and guardians with safe, supervised programs for their children during the critical after school hours when it matters most. The program runs through 6pm each school day. Beginning in September of 2015, our Crispell Middle School Program is now bused to Pine Bush Elementary School daily. Parent pick up is at the Pine Bush Elementary School.

The After School Program focuses on providing every Club kid with a few essentials each day: every Club kid gets a healthy snack, homework help, or tutoring and FUN activities each and every day.

Most Club locations start with snack and Power Hour, an hour for the Club kids to focus on homework, studying for upcoming tests, and playing games or completing activities designed to reinforce the lessons they learn during the school day.

All Club locations also focus on the five core areas of Youth Development, according to Boys & Girls Clubs of America: Character & Leadership, Health & Wellness, The Arts, Sports & Recreation, and Education & Career Development. All Club locations also complete a monthly community service project and have a monthly guest speaker to keep things interesting!

Our Middle School Program volunteers help the younger students with homework, reading, and Power Hour!

Safety for our Club kids is the highest priority for our organization.

All staff members undergo annual criminal background checks and all Program Staff also undergo annual fingerprint clearance from New York State, are CPR and First Aid-certified, and receive a minimum of 15 hours of youth development training annually.
