REOPENING UPDATE as of 9/2/20:
The MCSD will not be permitting after school programming on the elementary or secondary levels when in person instruction resumes in September. If funding and facility usage allows, the programs may be phased in at a later date. The MCSD values our relationship and the services we provide to Monticello families. As this unprecedented school year develops we will continuously monitor and look for ways to create programming options for our Monticello families.
Our Monticello Club first opened in September 2007, and catered to middle and high school students in the St. John’s Street School in the Village of Monticello.
In a bid to serve more of the Monticello District’s kids, we moved into the RJK Middle School in late Fall 2010. This move allows our Club kids from Wurtsboro, Forestburgh, Bethel, and those without parental transportation to take the 4:30pm Late Bus home.
In 2011, the Clubs opened the FACES program in Monticello High School in conjunction with Monticello High School, and thanks to a New York State Department of Education grant to target academically at-risk youth.
In 2011, the Clubs also served Monticello youth through Supplemental Education Services tutoring programs, as available.
